Ultimate Express was established in late 1996 by joint partners John Douglas & Paul Adkin in a shared retail unit located on Yeadon Town Street. In the years that have followed Ultimate Express has shown a dedication to providing a service of consistently high standard. And our commitment to quality was made formal in 1998 when we were accredited with ISO 9000.

The company has grown from its very humble birth in 1996 with one Citroen van having to be driven the length and breadth of the UK by John or Paul. Their dedication and personal approach to arranging urgent collections and deliveries throughout the UK, as well as organising international collections and deliveries, proved to be a very successful formula with growth of the company being 40% year on year. All profits been reinvested in the company.

Environmental Policy

Ultimate Express recognise that its business activities have a direct impact on the environment. This policy identifies the objectives, commitment and responsibilities of all the company employees to control the environmental impact whilst in the execution of their duties.

Employees are encouraged to limit waste and conserve the use of materials and energy in their day to day activities and the company provides special collection bins for employees use. Ultimate Express only use reputable licensed organisations for the disposal of industrial waste.

Ultimate Express's policy is to use vehicles fitted with road friendly suspension. It is also company policy to use the most economical and least environmentally damaging fuel.

We will regularly assess the need to further improve environmental objectives and performance, whilst ensuring that we comply with current legislation and codes of practice at all times.

It will be the responsibility of the environmental officer to ensure that the companies environmental responsibilities are communicated to all staff, and that each individual is encouraged to input into the environment system such that all can contribute to minimising the impact of the company on the environment.
